Lonely Man

I took the image three years ago when I was in the Honolulu airport. Me and my friends were rushing from one end of the airport to the other when I stumbled across this man sitting so still in a bus waiting area. The world around him was moving quickly, people with cell phones and suitcases, and buses carting around people from point A to B, yet, he just sat there, watching it all go by. I love the contrast in this image, and that it just barely lights up his outline.

Flowers and Dresses

All this temporary warmish weather downtown Toronto has people anxiously waiting for Spring time to come. The greenery in these two images remind of how much I love shooting outdoors, a intricate and vibrant background like trees, or flowers, I feel, give a finishing touch to any photo. Here, Kristen models two different floral print dresses in a little park near harbourfront. I love the first photo and its seriousness and careful attention to lines and angles, but I love the second one too because its so carefree and happy.

Two wrongs make a right

This ones an old shot from a photoshoot with Bianka. Although there were many great images, I really liked this one A) because it was so dark, B) because there is one candle thats not lit. It just kinda makes the whole image unbalanced in a subtle way. The crooked candles and the unlit candle made for a great capture.

Green Trees and Purple Flowers

Captured on a breezy spring day, these images remind me of the beauty of spring flowers, the colour green all around, and the sound of ruffling leaves. Colleen poses here in a small park like area at harbourfront, one of my personal favourite locations to shoot. There were so many great images that came from this shoot, but I'll save those  for a later date!

Long legs for long walks on the boardwalk

These two pictures are from a photoshoot I did in the Harbourfront area, Toronto, during the past summer. One of my favourite places to just sit and eat lunch, watch the water, the seagulls and the people. The amount of happy people in this area in the summer time inspired me to do a casual looking shoot on the boardwalk. Lydia, a Toronto aspiring model, walks the boardwalk with confidence on this Friday night sunset. She definitely walked up a storm and although you cant see it in these images, there were crowds of people just watching the photoshoot take place. People came up to me after asking what magazine the images would be published in, I felt so famous, haha.

Going up...

This is actually from my very first photoshoot. What was supposed to be a subway tunnel photoshoot, turned into an escalator shoot. It just so happened that the escalator was in fact stopped, which allowed for the model, Samantha, to be able to pose without having to get off and ride back up every 2 minutes. Below are my favourite subway tunnel shots.

This ones a oldie but a goodie

This shot is from a shoot I did last year. Still one of my favourite images, mostly because its so unique and random. Ashley, a University of Toronto graduate and good friend of mine, poses as though she has just caught herself while gracefully falling down the stairs. This was a collaborated shoot, although styling and photography were done by myself, makeup and hair were done by Natalie (heres her Model Mayhem page: http://www.modelmayhem.com/1400024)

Rocker Chic

I just upgraded my old DLSR Sony a200 to a Canon 60D. I'm very happy with my new camera, and its quality in photos. These are some of the best images from my first photoshoot of the year. The dim lighting in this College St lounge, the black leather couches and brick backdrop really added to the Rockstar themed shoot. Here, Jonna, a first year University of Toronto student wears a leather inspired rocker chic outfit.
