Summer Breeze

These are images from two shoots I had last week, with the images I was able to create a fashion spread featuring the latest summer trends of 2012. I've had a surprising large amount of positive feedback and I'm hoping to create more of these magazine type spreads in the future! Enjoy!

A little bit of Dance ...

These images are from a shoot I took a few weeks ago. They were taken at various locations around the University of Toronto campus with Amanda. This shoot was a little different than my usual photoshoots in that it was predominantly dance focused, and so I quickly had to adapt to the quick movements and dance poses being given. All in all, I really enjoyed this shoot and the photos that came from it.

A little bit of Glamour ...

This is one of many great images from my latest photoshoot this past weekend. The model here is Giulia, and the make up was done by Jonna B. This particular picture was inspired by one of Kim Kardashian's fashion and glamour shots - and I think we got it down pat, with our own spin! We tried to keep the wardrobing simple so as to really call attention to the face, hair and makeup. Thanks to all involved!

Christmas Things

Once upon a cold and windy night in Toronto ...

So in another impromptu photoshoot, which probably lasted ten minutes - maximum (due to the extreme cold and wind), we managed to grab a few good photos. There was absolutely no lighting at this dock, so I made due with my flash Thanks Naila for putting up with the cold!!

Autumn Leaves

So Autumn is officially here, and I know this not just because of the obvious "its past Sept.21st" but because the leaves have started to change colours. However, since the weather has been fabulous these past few days, fountains like the one shown in the background are still going. I found it particularly interesting to mix the fall colours with the bright summer-like blue colours. Nicole (top image) and I (bottom image) had a lot of fun shooting these pics and were really happy with how they came out!

Not Ready to let go of Summer

These pics are from my latest shoot, on the Harbourfront boardwalk, with Nathalie. Shooting during the week rather than weekends is much more convenient because there aren't as many people walking by/staring/taking pictures of the photoshoot. Taken just past sunset the mixing of warm and cool colours, I think are what make these images interesting. For this shoot I collaborated with a makeup artist and I really like the natural, elegant makeup.
